Snowmobile Trails Closed - March 8, 2010

 

Effective Monday, March 8, 2010 - Rusk County snowmobile trails are closed.  The warm weather has deteriorated trails throughout the County creating bare trails, standing water, open swamps and streams, and unsafe ice.  This is most likely the end of the snowmobile season, see you on the trails next year.

Don't forget to stop along the way at any number of our excellent supper clubs where you'll experience true northwoods hospitality. Lodging is available throughout the area, and eight active snowmobile clubs keep Rusk County's trails well marked and groomed throughout the season.
