Snowmobile Trail Update - February 3, 2010

The best conditions of the season can be found right now in Rusk County. The area received a few fresh inches of snow at the beginning of the week, and a couple more may fall before the weekend. The trail base is solid and groomers are reporting great conditions throughout the County. The forecast for the weekend, looks to be ideal for sledding with temps in the 20's during the day and a chance of light snow every day. Groomers continue to work trails to create the best conditions, and areas in the County including the Blue Hills, Hawkins, Ladysmith, Sheldon, and Holcombe all report good trail conditions. There is no better time than now to get out and ride. Always ride with caution and be aware of changing conditions.

While you're out riding this weekend be sure to stop by the weekend's snowmobile event. Saturday, February 06, 2010 Ladysmith Driftbusters Chili and Brat Feed at the Flambeau Lodge, Ladysmith, WI.
